Hello, and welcome to my new site and my new brand, Sandy Boots Studio. My name is Natasha. Some of you may remember me as the creator behind Ponytails Digital Designs, the label I created under for over a decade, most recently at Sweet Shoppe Designs.
You may be wondering why I made the switch? A lot of reasons really, but mainly because my vision and goals no longer aligned with the forum model of selling and showcasing my work. I wanted to reinvent myself in a way that felt more authentic (and truth be told, with less pressure too).
One thing that hasn’t changed with my designs is my attention to detail and quality of product. I’m a perfectionist, and I want my work to reflect the thought and effort that goes into creating everything I sell. At heart, I’m a scrapbooker too, and I want to make beautiful pages to preserve my own memories, same as you do!
So, why Sandy Boots Studio? Good question! I was looking for a theme that really encompasses who I am as a woman and a designer. Sandy Boots can refer to my love of the country (and cowboy boots!) and also of the ocean. As it says on my bio page… “I’m a coastal country girl with a love of pretty things, sunshine, and flip-flops…” and I can say that I’m never happier than when I’m at the beach or in the paddock at home. I must say though, that I do love hanging out at the local winery too, which is conveniently just around the corner from where I live. Throw in some friends, some country music, and some sunshine and you’ve got one happy lady!
Things are still a bit under construction here, but I hope you’ll enjoy taking a look around and checking out some of the personal pages I’ve created. Check out my Weekly Project if you really want to see a glimpse into my life! I use the Weekly Project method as a way of journaling all the big and little things that happen on a weekly basis… especially those little moments that are so easily forgotten amid the busyness of everyday life.
